Leaderboard privacy

Joining the global leaderboard is optional. Choose a public nickname—not your real name or other personal information.

What people can see

Only your nickname, verified score, rank and submission date/time are displayed publicly.

What is stored

The leaderboard stores your nickname, verified score, submission time, gameplay-verification records, and technical run and submission identifiers. It does not require a user account, email address or other profile information.

Why it is used

This information is used to operate, secure and moderate The AI Argument Game leaderboard. Cloudflare D1 stores the leaderboard, and Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated abuse.

How long it is kept

Leaderboard submissions and their associated verification records are retained while the global leaderboard operates, unless an entry is removed following a valid removal request or moderation action. There is currently no automatic expiry or scheduled deletion.

Requesting removal

To request removal of an entry, contact Frank Prendergast on LinkedIn (opens in a new tab). Include the nickname, score and approximate submission date/time so the exact entry can be identified. Because there are no player accounts, there is no account-based deletion or automatic way to prove ownership of an entry.
